Appointment of Douglas Bailey to Board of Directors

Tap Oil Limited ("Tap") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Douglas Bailey to its Board of Directors effective on this day 11 November 2009.

Mr Bailey has over 30 years experience in the resources sector, having held Senior Executive and Directorship positions with Ashton Mining Limited including Chief Executive Officer, and was formerly the Chief Financial Officer at Woodside Petroleum Limited. Mr Bailey is the currently a non-executive director of St Barbara
Limited.

Tap welcomes the appointment of Mr Bailey to the Board, which will benefit from the complementary mix of skills and experience that he brings to Tap's Board.
