For what it is worth, he was definitely a pioneer at his craft. His style was unique being able to incorporate aboriginal music into mainstream music. In some ways, he could be likened to Run DMC who were the pioneers for rap in the USA.
His song "Treaty" made it onto the charts in the USA, which is a massive achievement.
He was a great embassador for his people and for Australia. Sad to hear of his passing. He may have passed but his impact and his legend will continue to move on. I hope wherever he is, that unique sound of the didgeridoo continues to play.
