I was recently chatting about this phenomena to a director of an asx mid cap who said never forget board members are strategists and deals get done and actions put into play long before they come to fruition. In this case I believe a deal is already done. Hope I am wrong. Time will tell but if I am right it will be a shame because IMO dte could be a great mid tier resource co in it's right if it doesn't get taken out
