I can't specifically refute what you say. ie CST may well be manipulated, although it is my feeling that we all tend to call manipulation far more often than it actually occurs.

It may just be that low volume and spikey movements are just that - low volume and spikey movements. As I have said before I believe that a lot of this stock is held quite tightly and there is little left for trading.

My reason for holding CST has nothing to do with the daily movements - it is purely on my own personal belief in the company itself (fundamentals, if you wish).

The movements that you are seeing as "manipulation" may just be a result of the fact that many share my belief and even if they are not medium/long holders they know it makes an excellent trading stock because of the underlying future promise. I suspect that CST is on an awfull lot of watchlists and therefore the combination of little available stock and high interest tends to magnify any movements.


If what I read on the forums is to be believed then the savvy traders are making money on CST and the medium/long term holders (like me) are happy. Can't ask for much more than that, I suppose.
