AGM is next Monday. Senior directors are in the States at the moment but will be returning for the AGM.
We are basically waiting for two things at the moment.
1. The CDC to release their report recommending the use of Quantiferon-TB as a recommended test for latent TB. This is due "in the fall" (our spring) but could appear anytime. Rumour has it that a draft version has already been circulated. Remember that it was the CDC that sponsored the expedited FDA approval last year.
2. Initial sales to Government and Institutions in the US. Whist some of these may happen before the CDC report it is certain that once the CDC report is published these will roll.
As I am sure I have said before these shares have progressively been soaked up by speculative investors, leaving very few for the traders. This is evidenced by days like today where on the tiniest bit of price action the share moves hard and fast.
If you have been watching the cellestis web site (www.cellestis.com) you will have seen that the company has been appointing distributors progressively throughout the world. This was one of their stated aims and seems to be coming together very nicely.
The annual report showed that the superior QFTB2 test is currently in trials. This suggests that it will hit the market within the estimated 18 month time span. The Mk2 test is the key to an immediate 20-25m tests per annum in Japan alone. On my rough calculations that is worth something over $15 on the share price.
