well that is a very basic rumour, if you had heard why, then fair enough, maybe some substance to it.
the only way ESG is going to break out to the upside is if they release compelling drilling results or they release some sort of update saying what the big picture is - possibly contingent reserves so people get the idea of what quantum they are dealing with when it comes to ESG. unlike QLD its a different market in NSW and so there is not the insatiable demand and take overs happening. however once ESG has shown its potential, there will be those interested.
we should be thankful that it is firming in the 50's, a good base to launch from on any positive news.
certainly management need to appreciate the fire in the sector at the moment and should try and capatalise on it, its not a given that the sector will remain this hot for any period of time. however in the meantime all the action in QLD is keeping it exciting to follow.
