Whilst that is true for 99.99% of items a man of his wealth would purchase, I think you would find that Shareholders would be EXTREMELY interested if Andrew was identified as the individual who chose to back the legal case of a current Minister of Parliament.
Then of course you have the media, authorities, general public, state government to name a few who would also be very interested to know what Mr Porter was able to offer the Chairman of Fortescue in return ?
The potential ramifications would be larger than you naively appear to care about such an issue, trust me though who ever backed the former Attorney General is very, very, very keen for their identify to remain hidden given the fallout for that individual is larger than they may otherwise intended.
