Mixed thoughts Tedroo, disappointing results but the next 6 month period does look bright with IO contracted price raise penciled in at 40% to 100% if you believe the big boys at BHP.
"Fortescue is now producing at an annual rate of 42 million tonnes a year. It plans to be at an annual rate of 55 million tonnes by the end of 2010" This will improve the bottom line when IO prices are revised and other Asian countries begin taking FMG's product around OCT 2010.
Guess a balance is needed between keeping the Chinese customers happy and share holders smiling, come the Mid year 2010 report we may see both.
