actually groepen, I work in the international student market,
which has recently been hit for 6 by Rudd & co apparently to protect Australian jobs ???- so why does this latest move on mining not surprise me? Lets see what the detail is later today though- it depends on the size of the resource rent tax & whether or not it is a double tax on mining profits. Any double tax will hit FMG's and other miners future ROE valuation estimates hard. But of course, this new tax would still have to get through the Senate before implementation.
