Not so sure that they will back-flip on this one.
In my opinion they are winning the PR campaign and a lot of voters relate to the concept that "we own the resources". Henry doesn't help the anti-lobby either.
I also think that shallow issues like what Dutton did actually influences a lot of voters.
Finally - Rudd cannot personally afford to be seen to abandon another policy.
