FMG announced this morning that they are building a 270km natural gas pipeline to the 125 megwatt power station at Solomon hub.
FMG predict that the switch to natural gas from diesel fuel will save them AUD $20 million per year.
FMG CEO Nev Power said the company was committed to reducing energy cost and greenhouse emissions across their mining operations.

IMO, all bodes will for AJQ, given our tenaments locations to other mining operations and the increase demands for gas.
Also, the NT / SA governments still banging on about a joint pipeline to supply natural gas to new areas.
