interesting how twiggy Forest complained about having the MRRT on his company.
The Labor government was hell bent pushing its ideological agenda
"the resources in the ground belong to all Australians"

They didn't listen to him. He was just another greedy billionaire Gina Rhinehart who wanted more

Turns out there is a very real danger that the company could go under.

It is in trading halt waiting on decision from its lenders in regard to whether or not they will refinance.

shareholders who took a risk could lose everything
No doubt many have lost a fortune with the falling share price

    I have two questions -

should the government be adding to a company's problems by imposing a tax on them?

The government takes zero risk, but they feel they deserve part of the profit.
a lot of shareholders have taken a risk investing in this company. Many have lost a fortune due to the falling share price.
Should people who take zero risk get some of the risk takers rewards?
