I've got a qtr acre block and had a bobcat clear the weeds and smooth it out a bit and laid turf. trouble is the seeds were still healthy and I've been fighting weeds ever since. 2-4D clears the broad leaf weeds but the buffalo lawn is sensitive so I do a lot of work with the brush cutter, digging weeds by the roots. That machine has done a LOT of work.
Bought a battery start mower because I give up if the mower doesn't start in the first few pulls. The battery was crap and expensive to replace so it sat for years deteriorating with only a couple of hours work on it. Bought a new one but the drive cable was stuck and it took me a couple of weeks to free that up. I hate mowers, more friendly to my brush cutter which usually starts on the second pull.
