After sidelining over the last 7-8 months or so, I've decided to step back in and get my first parcel today along with other US growth names I'm interested in.
Thanks to APT I made my first fortune and luckily I took a chunk of my profit to upsize my home late last year and leave the rest for rainy days, and left HC for good...
In retrospect it doesn't take a genius to see that a significant correction was overdue especially for the growth land but the extend of it (and how quick it is) has surprised me. Even Netflix and FB got crushed like that in a blink of an eye. Was really tempted to get in around US$100 but my experience has taught me that with a drop like this, I should wait for the second leg to surface and it's now confirmed.
I don't have a crystal ball to tell where's the bottom but I like to take risk when others can't and that got me Fortune 1.0. A small parcel today but it gives me skin in the game to build on for Fortune 2.0.
Miss those days when the APT (now SQ2) thread was much more colourful and active than it's been recently. It was outragrously entertaining at times and I'm looking forward to seeing familiar names appear on this thread again in due course...
