Won't name names but my approach is to identify a group of growth names with the right market cap size for my risk appetite, that they show relative strength in this bear market. In a sense I'm letting the market with collective intelligence to signal which stocks they are relatively relundant to throw away. I also want to see how the market react for those shortlisted stocks when the tide is starting to turn but we haven't reach this point yet.

In fact that was essentially how I got into APT in the first place. For a while I was betting there's a chance that the tech sector will start to boom in Australia like anywhere else so I picked a basket of small-cap techs to invest and over time weed out those going nowhere. APT was clearly a standout amongst the pack although I took profit and sold out around 2018-19 as I thought cracking the US market was just too good to be true but the numbers and price action proved me wrong. So I got back in seeing SP went from $7 to $40 but was feeling full of regret as I only invested a rather modest amount at that time, and I took the chance to correct that when the pandemic market crash presented me an opportunity to buy again around $10...

Believe it or not, SQ is actually one of the strongest stocks in my shortlist at the moment so far and it got to tell you how bad this bear market really is for the growth land...
