    Now that the marriage appears to be off, it would probably be more appropriate for you to worry about FER than PLT.

    Hopefully PLT will provide guidance as to what its current position is once the merger proposal lapses.

    As for FER, I would have though that you shareholders would be wondering why your directors had all that time to do due diligence prior to announcing and supporting the merger proposal, yet needed to hire an independent expert to come up with a conclusion based on something that should already have been obvious, if it was indeed the case (re. the cash flow issues). It's the strangest non-merger that I've ever seen, and the biggest question marks are regarding what went on in the FER boardroom.

    As I've vowed not to post any further posts on FER (upon request of one of your more cranky forum members), I would take this opportunity that you've presented to ask the reverse question (possibly best answered on FER rather than PLT):

    ... So where to now for FER?
