Forum Engagement Policy

Dear HotCopper community,

We believe that keeping this community regularly updated supports our principle of openness and continual public engagement in addition to formal ASX announcements.

We have been encouraged by many investors to continue to engage via this channel as it can help to clarify questions that may arise following ASX announcements or from other communication channels, from time to time.

We are also mindful of how much time we spend engaging in this manner as it’s important our efforts are purposeful and cost-effective.

Unfortunately, when we’ve engaged on HotCopper in the past, there are often a number of posters that ask repetitive, off-topic, flaming and baiting questions. And while we welcome genuine questions and constructive feedback from shareholders, some posters may in fact be simply ‘trolling’ the Company in its attempt to engage with the HotCopper community in good faith.

To address such ‘trolling’ behaviour, we’ve introduced a new policy when posting as the ECT_Rep. If in our view, posters are ‘trolling’ the thread, we will ‘ignore’ that poster and thus not answer further questions from that specific poster.

‘Ignoring’ prevents us from seeing posts from that person in any thread.

This will be a discretionary decision by ECT and will not involve HotCopper administrators. However, as a general rule, we like to have checks and balances in place, so any poster who feels aggrieved with the decision to ‘ignore’ their posts can email us at [email protected], with ‘Subject field: HotCopper Ignore – Appeal’ and state their case for why they shouldn’t be ignored, and we’ll consider reversing the decision.

We believe this will enhance the community discussion by encouraging genuine questions from conscientious posters while helping us direct our efforts towards answering well-intentioned questions.
