So something like this?
Pran down = PBT follows
Pbt overshoots sell off(not hard considering our vols) = create pran panic and further selldown. etc etc
This has happened to a lesser extent in the past with some of our other big moves, but currently unfolding is the best example.
Wouldnt take many shares on one register to send both registers up or down. Heaps of emotion/nerves/greed at play.
Someone still bought today at a premium to the price two weeks ago.
