I haven't commented much on HC lately, but this is a topic I've addressed a few times.
it feels like too many investors have their head in the sand with renewable expectations, you can't get there without critical minerals. The ESG requirements investors now demand plus the pressure to sell down fossil fuels / return capital (especially in US and Europe) is creating a perfect storm of mid term energy shortages.
You would expect this to be at front of mind of investors, but it feels more like a bubble mentality, rational thought has departed the market and green stocks are often stupidly overpriced (Tesla anyone)...
its unfortunate because the fundamental requirement for energy will mean shortages have drastic effects on economic growth and high prices hurt including costing lives.
