I am indeed speechless and I do hope you will allow me to point out that this is indeed an outlandish proposition as for newly established companies with unpredictable earnings, such as CSX, predicting the future share price is anyone's guess. With a company still in its embryonic stage (as CSX is) there are simply too many variables and price altering situations that can not be quantified.
Having said that I have never seen anyone suggest that one could arrive arrive at an indicative price for a share by simply suggesting that you take the average of the high and low selling prices, and I suspect it has not been adopted as a pricing mechanism for obvious reasons.
