CAZ has had a long running dispute with Hammersley Resources (ala Rio Tinto) via the Wardens Court regarding the Brockman iron deposits (Rhodes Ridge) in terms of ownership of tenements.
FMG backed them as if CAZ was successful, the tenements were to be granted to FMG in return for substantial royalty payments, however, the Minister thought otherwise and all administrative and legal avenues of appeal have just about been exhausted. CAZ may still appeal via the Supreme Court for further review.
