While I would love for lynas to push SP up, I have to ask, do you really think they would do this ?
Agreed, the 30 days post Oct trigger may be one of the most important SP periods over the last many years.... but... really ??

May I ask, what is Lyna's motive for spending $$$ buying back shares ?

Pushing SP back up ... um, the company should be less worried about SP and more about ensuring it can last the distance with a TOL date still not locked in. It is us investors who are losing sleep over SP and dilution... Someone else pointed out that the dilution would be a situation of two sets of investors arguing about who owns what... Lynas may be pressured to think one way by the large holders, but it should not spend it's own scarce money trying to prop up the SP right now.


1st Priority by any company should not be the SP... it should be viability going forward... with zero income right now, the last thing Lynas should be doing is buying anything that does not move it towards income stream ASAP.

Stay afloat and the SP can look after itself.

Do a buy back trying to fight off the sorters and you will find Lynas's pockets are no where as deep as those who want to see it's SP down, then the board would have to explain how it ran out of money so much earlier than was expected..

zero chance a buyback unless TOL is announced very soon... and even then, why would they bother as SP *should* pop up quite a bit.
