Your observations about the apparent move to fill the GAP are indeed valid.

BUT

What would happen if the Company were to produce a revenue generating announcement or a new contract etc.

Given that the tanking of the SP has happened on very very low volume and that the largest portion of shareholders to liquidate have been the Mums and Dads (Etrade-Commsec) the other scenario still in play is CONFIRMATION.

If the Company were to provide information prooving positve cashflows, additional revenue generating contracts or improved modeling within the next day or two the share price could break significantly to the upside and put provide Confirmation that the GAP was indeed a breakaway.

Of course if nothing like this happens then - your GAP filling could well play out on current Overall Market Sentiment.

IMO positive news will reverse the trend and in a very big way.
