That is an interesting Committee Paper, MF. Hadn’t seen that one before. It confirms our discussions and inferences made here post 2009. The plans and specifications of CWE have changed somewhat since then. The laws of physics have not. The members of the Environment and Resources Committee seemed to understand Greg Allen’s technical explanations. Pleasant surprise for a government committee! My estimate for the vertical lift the Ceto 6 foundations would have to withstand is at least 500 tonnes. Figure depends on the margin of safety they want to build in. Juke
