IMO the 4 Corners Report into Australia's live cattle trade to Indonesia is disturbing enough. Even more disturbing is the explosion of the human population & adoption of western style, meat-based diets.
The reality of abbattoirs anywhere is that animals are killed for human consumption. Whether it is the sight of a whale, a steer or lamb IMO the principle is the same.
The impact of ALL 7b of us eating a meat based diet would rival what we have already done to the Planet by other means. Add another 7b by 2060 & convert them all to eating meat & good luck folks!
