I started looking into this as I reached out to Tassal for a potential grad job. Decent company by the look of it.
The Four Corners segment was unbelievably biased. There wasn't a single figure presented to substantiate claims of Tassal having caused any environmental damage. They didn't even show any footage of the environment underwater - I would imagine everything is fine/at tolerable levels and this is all spin.
Every piece of information was presented as if it were some horrendous crime by Tassal even if it was as insignificant as Tassal having had a strategic partnership with the WWF. Just because there is a decent sum of money involved, which is simply part of business, they try and paint the situation as being some sort of malpractice.
I would imagine Tassal's business sales will be relatively unaffected, but retail shoppers may be discouraged from buying Tassal in the short term (if they watched the episode and believed the spin).
