With due respect, there is a marked difference between knowing what is right and wrong and being able to do something about it. Some people cannot step out of their front door because of the phobia they suffer. Irrational as it may seem to a laymen, the fear is real, palpable and suffocating which dictates their behaviour. It is far too simplistic and lacks thoughtful consideration to assume that the emotional and physiological mindsets of individuals is equivalent.
