no - truly mentally disabled people etc are NOT peanut people
peanut people are ones with a certain level of intellect ------- however, full of biases, probably lack of education, followers of memeland, conspiracy world
they are almost always conservative thinking right wing -
the term comes from when someone is seen to do something so obviously stupid that one often hears a comment from an observer of 'what a ???? peanut'
quite fitting really
it's actually a cultural thing - because in other nations - people who are not educated to higher levels and aren't blessed with a higher intellect - are NOT peanuts
peanuts appear to be mostly found in places like Oz, UK and the USA - they do occur elsewhere - but, not in such numbers.
eg. NZ and most of Europe have low levels of peanuts compared to Oz
the environment often signals a larger percentage of peanuts - controlled spaces, vandalism - all seem to be coincident with peanut levels ---------- vandalism in particular IMO
