ok the implication was that watso would "go again later on" would be later on, on the same day..
ok watso did go "later on " which was the next day ... but the special had expired...
butt the good news is that watso just happened to be in the spud shed store when a store employee was doing the second mark down on approx 500 gm packs of marinated pork loin - and in vacuum sealed bags (ie perfect for sous vide cooking) .. worked out to be about $5/kg.. lol lol watso picked up 17 of them ..
VACUUM SEALED PACKAGING = THROW AWAY THE USED BY DATE ..

anyway, watso has a brand new (and unused) sous vide cooker .. but has had great results just using his solar cooker ... watso has had great results with a 2kg roasts something or the other (would have posted about it - a few years ago) ..
approx 500gm packs of marinated pork in vacuum sealed bags are perfect for the solar cooker
watso has no idea why, butt sometimes the wonderful lord looks after the atheist fatso watso ...
BUTT WAIT .. there is still more good news ..
lol lol watso still has several packages of approx 1kg x marinated beef roasts (and in vacuum sealed bags) from about one year ago .. and also from spudshed .. at a very good price ..

lol lol the day that watso picked up the good priced pork, he also bought heavily rtc diced beef ... and trust watso, butt even the toughest of meat becomes tender when cooked under pressure for an hour in a pressure cooker ...
mmm and watso had also purchased a 10kg of super good onions for only $7.00
anyway, watso hates waste .. and he had collected a lot of road kill (birds, cats. dogs, kangaroos) .. from which he made a great stock .... mmm and watso tossed in a good dose of vinegar (hopefully to kill all the bugs) when he did the final cooking .(mmm watso was wondering what the strange taste was .. butt is still alive )
anyway, the great fatso watso is still alive -- and watso started posting about 25 years ago - and hopefully has another 25 years ahead of him
