@Scott th Ratbag; Labor acted a decade ago to greatly increase the number of women in Parliament and to address issues of the kind that are now oh-so-public about Morrison's Liberal Party.
These days women comprise roughly half of all Labor MPs whereas the Liberal Party deliberately refused to adopt such practices and went close to removing them from ministerial roles altogether - At one stage Julie Bishop was the only woman in Cabinet!
Labor still has issues to address and may well have grubs within its ranks but unlike the Liberal Party its neither into denial nor cover-ups.
