Yup, we will need to sit tight because (as far as I am aware) there is no statutory timeframe specified under the EPA(WA)1986.

Further to this, please note (as copied below) that the "Service Standards" for Proponents as stated on the Appeals Convenor's Webpage specifically exclude an explicit committment to ensure that appeals are dealt with in a "timely" manner.

"For proponents, the Appeals Convenor is committed to:

* notify the proponent as soon as possible that an appeal has been lodged against their proposal;
* provide the proponent with copies of the appeals;

* organise mediation and negotiation to resolve the issues if possible; and
* notify the proponent in writing of the outcome of the appeal within three days of the Minister making the determination."
