Fraccing Moritorium

On another thread a poster said:

"As for the moratorium, what a joke, will never happen. Do you really think the NT Govt. are going to cough up for compensation to the O&G companies, as well as be responsible for a 1,000 lost jobs and millions in investment."

I hope the poster in right but even if he/she is not, I suggest that so maybe a moratorium will be not be uncomfortable for our company. CTP will not be fraccing dependent for at least a decade. Mereenie, PV and Dingo are production ready. The rate of production and sale that CTP is targetting is 30 PJ per annum (2 customers at 15 PJ pa each). Given the reserves CTP will be able to prove-up in the near future that rate will keep the company in earnings for 10 years at around $90,000,000 pa (unless we share the customers with Santos - if so, we will be down to a measly $45M pa).

So we are talking 2 years for NEGI to be built then 10 years of sales - 12 years in total. That is probably a good ration of time for the fraccing moratorium issue to come and go. In the meantime the scare campaign is actually helping us. It reduces the number of potential competitors for capacity on the pipeline.
