fraccing shale gas wells

Hope you guys are reading the fraccing threads about Shale gas wells.

Excerpt below from the BOW thread...

I feel much better investing in the non-fraccing form of un conventional gas.

Digging a bit deeper into the shale story from the US it emerges that Exxon have a clause in their aus40Billion deal to buy shale explorer XTO along the lines of ..if the US govt legislates against the use of fraccing as a shale gas extraction technique then the deal is off...in small print.

This to me says it all about shale..it is still subject to rigorous environmental impact analysis.

For 60 minutes to even bring "fraccing" into the picture with QLD csg is grossly misleading.
