    Yes they do have spectacular unconventional resources striebs. Romanée Conti, Pétrus and Chateau Margaux to start with, thats pretty much all they are good for and I completely agree with the rest of your post, a nation of lazy socialists and damn good vintages IMO (while I quaff a cheap conventional Hunter Shiraz.)
