If I've read this correctly, they're not talking about the standard FRACU which they are rolling out to all personnel. This article (and the 2018 timeframe) is in reference to a jungle specific uniform that is being developed to deal with high humidity/moisture environments. It sounds like the nyco blend remains the best choice even in this scenario (perhaps with a slight variation in material, but different cut/pockets/vents etc). Which presumably means they'd use ajx FR on it as well if it maintains its characteristics (as we're told it does).
Gavin's recent email suggested to me that revenue for uniforms will be showing up in the near term (like this year).
I also noticed that they mentioned a new cool touch fabric for undershirts (not just the usual wicking fabric):
Sounds like Alexicool to me. Nick has said they'll have a 'major clothing apparel' client by the end of the month, so this news would fit in nicely with that.
