Fragile X efficacy will certainly show that we have the most promising treatment for autism.

Remember that Retts and Fragile X are believed to be the two extreme ends of the autistic continuum. With the Retts brain receiving too few signals and Fragile X too many. Almost every autistic sufferer is on the "too many signals" side - ie, the same side as Fragile X.

In mouse models we got prefects results in a perfect mouse model (the problem causing gene is known and can be knock out). ok, it is only a mouse model - but exciting all the same.

The Fragile X mouse results were far better than the Retts mouse results.

Exciting times ahead. Fingers crossed....
