Looks like we are not the only company struggling to recruit for the FX study. A plea from a Fragile X parent to others on the FB Group, posted on 21-01.

"If you have ever even given a thought about becoming involved in the Acamprosate Study, please give it even more serious thought. We are in jeopardy of losing half of our funding from Merck due to lack of participation. We REALLY need participants! I have attached a picture of the pill versus a typical Advil Liquid Capsule for comparison, must be able to swallow this pill whole, if this is something your child can do, please consider the study!
We are reaching out to everyone to let you know about a research study opportunity. Many of you know Dr. Craig Erickson, Medical Director of the Cincinnati Fragile X Research and Treatment Center and Indianapolis Fragile X Clinic. He is also the Principal Investigator for an investigational drug treatment called Acamprosate to see if reduces the symptoms associated with Fragile X Syndrome. This study has been ongoing at Cincinnati Children’s with Dr. Erickson and at Rush University in Chicago with Dr. Berry Kravis.
Dr. Erickson is in need of participants ages 5 to 22 for the study. If you may be interested please contact their office as soon as possible. Contact information and details of the study are below"
