Because one believes in freedom of religion, and because one is generous or humane it does not logically follow that one is in favor of letting huge numbers of socially indigestible and culturally foreign individuals into one's country.

That is the illogical position we have been tricked into.

I see nothing wrong at all, or anything morally reprehensible, with the citizens of a country making judgements on the number of uncompatible foreign individuals they permit to settle in their country.

One might disagree the basis for their decisions. But it is their country.
