Conclusion:
IMO its quite tragic that we have so many nay-sayers who oppose going green when the correct
strategy should be to capitalise on it via manufacturing (in whole or in part) the products enabling the
Globe to go green......we have all the raw materials here but to many nay-sayers who are content
to be left behind like the proverbial frog being gradually taken to the boil.

In the past we have relied on Multinationals to do the manufacturing for us and that didn't work out eh?
Our long term option is the status quo and a future of being a 3rd world country

To capitalise on going green:
-batteries
-wind and solar components
-EV components

etc etc etc...rather than Multinationals digging it up and shipping it out
and morphing into AI & Robotisation (fewer jobs)

Our claim to fame in sitting by and watching (we like watching) Multinationals
scoop up our valuable resources (keep in mind that both BHP & RIO are both over
92% foreign owned) was that we (including the Unions) have claimed Aussie jobs, jobs, jobs
which was defacto acceptance of the profits (in some cases vis tax rorting) but of course
that argument is becoming weaker by the year due to AI/Automation.(Capital instead of Labour)
