    Perhaps NT writers were pointing out to those who believed in "spirits" that there is a difference between "a spirit" and being spirit. Perhaps it indicates they believed the "spiritual" body is an exact copy of the "physical" body. Perhaps it is showing that in order to temporarily continue to communicate with the "physical" world, Jesus required a "physical" presence.
    Who knows ? Are you up to speed with the beliefs popular at that time ?
    You insist on the idea it's possible to understand the intent of Bible writings without understanding the beliefs of the people to whom they were directed.
