News for Today (AEST)
The XJO closed lower on Monday, where spread increased substantially, but volume reduced to below average (about average for a Monday). The close was a little off the day's low, and just above the 3rd August Low @5465.7 where support came in previously.
The Index found enough support late in the day to remain within the sideways trading range, and the movement on Monday may signify a potential change in behaviour, although this is unconfirmed as yet. Barring a complete reversal bar (which is easily possible), a clean and clear breakdown through the two lines below would see price head down to test the strength of the next lower levels between 5353 and 5383.
