So you would consider "no material impact on net investment returns" (as quoted from AFR article) to be equivalent to "Would I continue to receive the benefits of franking credits within a SMSF"? Two entirely different scenarios, just ask the 900,000 disgruntled retirees that stand to lose their FC refunds (real money, not a notion) should Shorten's thought bubble come to fruition.
