    I think that Shorten has not taken account of the goslings either. They will inherit less from their parents, be less able to save as much for their own superannuation (thus be encouraged to think, may as well get the Aged Pension instead), and make less effort to excel in their chosen career.

    As a confirmed right winger, I find that $1.6 million cap on Super put on by the Libs not surprisingly intelligent. More needs to be done like impose a graded tax scale on Superannuation Pensions. However, I can see a very good reason why this is fraught with administrative difficulties and expenses to implement. The ATO knows that as well.....
    But Baby Boomers like me should pay more tax. Well, not quite like me given I have 30% of my funds only in the super environment and thus definitely pay a very reasonable tax indeed, lol.
