    In that case then give the whole $130 to me (as I pay no tax) rather than give it to the taxman (double handling, complicates the tax system, cuts out the middle man) who then distributes it via a refund. At some point the non-tax paying entities should not be paying a tax at the company level and loose it via the tax system.

    It's really a conundrum of the political elites own making.

    It's simple don't make companies pay tax on dividend distributions (pay the full amount with NO credits) and let each individual tax payer pay the tax they must make under the tax law.

    For obvious reasons the simple solution will never see the light of day because it does actually eliminate double taxation, double handling at the recipients level.
