not sure what the ALP is doing but (excluding some low income threshold) it is wrong for superfunds of comfortable & wealthy people to receive refunds of franking credits during both the accumulation & retirement phases

getting a refund of franking credits means the dividend paying company was not taxed on that income you received from the company

most of the franking credits refunded, particularly to superfunds, are, in essence, theft
