I agree , some reward.
A quick precis of post 60 year old super might go like this.
1.6million in fund.
Probably 600k of that is there because a lower tax was paid on earnings and contributions.
That should have been reward enough.
Tax paid on earnings now equals zero. Tax paid on withdrawals equals zero.
Now imagine all those little boomers living for 25 years post 60 , consuming more of society's resources than anyone else, millions of the buggers , and paying zero tax! All the while whining that more resources , health , aged care etc, arent being spent on them.

Totally unsustainable.
We worked hard, but no harder than subsequent generations, and certainly not as hard as previous ones.

I do see that and all are fair points, how ever i would imagine for them to be up there then thay would have to have worked really hard and pId their dues before reaching retirement.
I just dont like segregation, perhaps the mediscar levy needs updating so every one pays.
