Why is it a winner to have the dividends franked? Given the state of political play, it's almost certain that the franking rebate for those who don't pay tax will be abolished, so surely a higher, unfranked dividend would be better? And for those of us who do pay tax, I'd rather keep additional funds in my pocket than the ATOs a bit longer. Am I missing something else?
