Correct Blackgold, by my calculations it appears substantial shareholders combined have sold a net 15,000,000 shares in the last 6 months, Westpac Custodial accounting for a whopping 9,400,000 of them. One could postulate that mainly because 1 top 20 shareholder decided to sell down almost 5% of the issued shares for whatever reason, it has been a major contributor to the share price being where it is now.
Imagine if major selling suddenly stopped or a rising tide of buyers absorbed the daily sell quota.....
