25 Years ago when sandalwood was much more commonly available, I contacted a Japanese sandalwood oil manufacturer about possibly selling sandalwood to them Their response was electric and eager. They offered to buy as much as I could supply depending on grade. That was despite the product being the inferior, loos, Australian variety. Sadly, bureaucracy from WA's Board prevented me from proceeding but I suspect today's market demand is no less eager than it was then.
