Cheers Kingpins and Mike68 for some helpful insights. I appreciate the time taken to respond. Shame the other responses are typical HC responses bereft of useful information.
I’m a young well educated professional in a good financial position and thought if I'm considering this area maybe others in my position are doing the same. I guess that’s why I started to look at the area in more detail, having said that you pose some very good points. The most important one is that investors may have to sit on the area for a while before any real movement occurs.
I noticed that while Frankston south is more expensive the demographic is much the same yet has a slightly lower average annual capital growth. Frankston North’s annual growth exceeded that of Mt Eliza at around 6.7% and almost every other suburb in the area. This is possibly skewed due to greater outliers in the Frankston south/Mt Eliza area.
Anymore “helpful” input would be great.
